Lyta new record label: Naira Marley Signs New Artist Lyta Into His Marlians Record Label
Lyta, a handsome and extremely intellectual young man well skilled in the art of writing music, was a former member of the YBN, Olamide’s record label, recently joined Marlian Music. Marlian music is a brand owned by Azeez Fashola, a rapper-singer popularly known as Naira Marley among both youth and adults alike, he became very Popular after he released his first song last year, 2019.
January 2020, Marley had launched his own label with the signing of four artistes— Fabian Zinoleesky, Mohbad and Cblack— during a massive concert themed ‘Marlian Fest’ in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Yesterday being Tuesday 10th of 2020, Naira Marley used his Twitter page to share a picture of Lyta with a document that looks like a record contract deal, welcoming him with the caption: “Welcome to MarlianMusic Lyta.”
Lyta in excitement wrote: “I’m so excited to be joining my new family Marlian music, thank you my President @nairamarley for giving me this amazing opportunity.”
He further explained why he left Olamide‘s record label in 2019, Lyta had said he was given a music release calendar which was inconsistent with how often he intended dropping new songs.
“When we want to drop new songs, we do so in a group of five. I was dropping my songs and they were talking about a calendar of some sort that I knew nothing about,” he said.
“I couldn’t always have to wait that long before dropping songs for my fans. That was why I made the move to leave the label. Olamide treats me well.
“He takes me like a son and taught me lots of stuff, told me I had to hustle. While I’ve been there, I’ve been okay with the family. But for the good of my music career, I decided to move.”
“I don’t have any deal with YBNL or Olamide. Olamide saw me on the street and helped me. I don’t have any written contract with him… YBNL and Olamide will always be part of my story.
“Yes, I was getting benefits. They used to pay me for shows. Sometimes N80,000, N60,000. But when I dropped my songs, ‘Temi’ and ‘Selfmade,’ I didn’t get anything.”
Lyta’s excitement to the new record label he joined is contagious and we hope his joy remains.
Lyta’s attitude of gratitude is one thing that youths these days should learn, even when you’re not satisfied with what you have and are expecting more in the near future, be thankful for what you have now, ” half bread, is better than none”

Reactions to Osun Monarch, Oluwo’s Comment On ENDSARS Protest
Nigerians on social media have reacted as a paramount monarch in Osun State, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, who said that he’s ready to lead the next EndSARS protest if called upon by the youths.
Oluwo disclosed this during an interactive programme organised by Osun State Government.
He said that any protest without a leader will fail.
He said that it is the leaders that will sit down to discuss with the government when the protest reaches the point of dialogue.
“Next time, if you want to organise a protest and you don’t have anyone to lead you, you may be afraid that they may kill you or you are afraid of being arrested, come to me, I will lead the protest.
“There is no way you can organise protest without leadership. You must give room for dialogue because it is the leadership that will eventually sit down and discuss with the government. That is the only way you can fight and get your demands to the government,” he said.
His comment has however generated to a lot of reactions as many Nigerians took to their social media handles to react.

A man that loves you would never hit you
“Ladies, don’t be deceived, a guy that loves you will never raise his hand on you”.
Stories have been circulating the internet on Lil frosh that beat his girlfriend until her face was disfigured and Chief Femi Fani Kayode, whose wife Precious has finally left him because she couldn’t take any more of the abuse he has violently dished out to her for a long time coming.
FFK came out recently, saying he caught his wife in bed with a married man seven years ago. If this is true, does it justify his hitting his wife? Mother of his kids?
Is domestic violence really justifiable on any grounds? No matter the excuse, ladies, sisters, don’t for any reason encourage and continue a relationship where you’re being battered.
It begins with a slap and an apology, until the abuse is full blown and no apology.
One thing I’ve notices is these guys that abuse ladies make sure to reduce her self esteem to zero, making her believe she can’t have a life without him, even if you’ve made a few mistake sis, you can still pick up your life. Please don’t stay with that guy because of the little benefits you receive, there’s more to you than that and you’re way bigger than that.
Seek for help, you’d be surprised at how much people would turn up and come through for you. Just don’t stay with a man that hits you.
A man that his you will respect you or love you the way that you deserve, don’t be deceived by the gifts or little apology he renders after every ugly ministration. If he loves you he would cherish you and want to keep you. Hitting a lady is just not it.
Domestic violence comes from a place of Low self-esteem, jealousy, bitterness and possessiveness which are all bad traits.
You can do better and you can be better.
